A short film about some of our most curious farm residents. Meet the goats of VIVA Quinta — what they're called, how they spend their days, and why they belong here.
Every working farm has its personalities, and ours has goats. They're some of the most playful residents at Quinta do Ananás — full of funny habits, a steady daily rhythm, and a quiet way of fitting into the ecosystem of a regenerative farm.

Goats aren't just charming to watch. On a regenerative farm, they earn their keep. They graze plants that would otherwise crowd out the species we want to encourage, they contribute to soil fertility through their movement and manure, and they're part of the rotation that keeps the land in conversation with itself. The food forest works better because they're in it.
They're also a reminder — for us and for anyone who visits — that a farm is a living thing made of many small lives. The land doesn't run on systems alone. It runs on the daily rhythm of the animals who live on it.

If you're staying with us at Quinta do Ananás or coming for a farm tour, you'll meet them in person. They're not shy.
