A working farm in the heart of São Miguel, where slow mornings, seasonal harvests, and Azorean quiet shape every stay.
We are, above all else, learners — and we believe the good life is built on what we choose to learn and what we choose to share. The Azores taught us the first lesson: how to slow down. How to let mornings be mornings, meals be meals, conversations be long. How to live as though there is time, because here, there is.
Living on an island taught us the second: that taking care of yourself means taking care of what's around you. We learned to grow food the way nature grows it. We learned that what you eat, how it was grown, and who you share it with becomes the difference between getting through a day and being nourished by it. These are just some of the things we've learned. We built VIVA Quinta to share them.
"Some guests come to learn how to do something. Some come to learn how to be someone. Some come to learn how to do nothing at all. All of them are welcome."

At VIVA Quinta, the farm is the platform — and learning goes wherever curiosity takes it. We share what the land teaches and we host teachers from around the world who bring everything else. Some classes you'll find on our calendar. Some will be invented by the people who come. All of it is meant to be carried home.
Quinta do Ananás — our pineapple farm and the first VIVA Quinta property to welcome guests in 2025 — has earned a 5-star rating on Airbnb, 10/10 on Booking.com, and Airbnb's Guest Favorite badge.

VIVA Quinta is shaped by the people who tend the land, cook in our kitchen, host our guests, and keep the farm humming. Meet the team.

There's a rhythm to a stay at VIVA Quinta — and the best way to find yours is to talk with us. Tell us what you're after, and we'll shape your time on the island.
